Festival Of Trees Charity Auction

2025 KC Holiday Boutique | Volunteer Sign Up

Dates: Set up (11/18-19/2025) Event (11/19-23/2025)

JCCB Festival of Trees has become a Kanas City Tradition. Each year we welcome in the holiday season with a display of trees, wreaths and other decor items to deck your halls. This Festival of Trees Charity Auction is a great experience to walk through to take home ideas to deck your own halls or just make it easy on yourself and take home a fully decorated display of the season.  The hustle and bustle of holiday shopping can sometimes be overwhelming. This year a JCCB Package Pick Up Service for all the Holiday Boutique shoppers will be available. We are also looking for volunteers to assist shoppers with this option as a fundraiser along with helping Auction traffic with learning the bid process to take home their favorite Tree or Wreath. Feel free to volunteer and welcome the holiday season with JCCB!

Finding Holiday Joy at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau

2025 Holiday Shop | Volunteer Sign Up

Set up Begins in November! Event Dates: December 5-13, 2025

The Johnson County Christmas Bureau is always looking for elves to help with the JCCB Holiday Shop.  This FREE Shopping experience is provided by the neighbors of the entire metropolitan area; neighbors helping neighbors. Our non-profit agency has been providing warmth and support annually to over 13,000 of our Johnson County low-income neighbors for 65 years, however we can only make this happen with over 3,000 volunteers, just like you to help.

Our volunteers must be high-school age or older to help move-in and/ or move-out the shop. Middle school is the minimum age of our volunteers to help with set-up/ tear-down as well as shop.

Please note: Middle-school students can volunteer during the JCCB Holiday Shop however, they must be 1:1 with an adult. They can also volunteer during set-up and tear-down but there must be one adult for every five middle-school aged child. Middle-school aged children cannot volunteer during move-in or move-out. See JCCB HOLIDAY SHOP FAQ Download for more information.

All you need is a smile, ability to interact with and help shoppers through each department, or assist departments in giving out tons of coats & food. Maybe you want to help load a cart or vehicle as they take all their gifts home. Our volunteers are 11 years of age or older to volunteer, however a 1:1 Parent to Child is required. The gift of time and energy is precious and we know your time is valuable. Thank you to all who have volunteered and those who will help in the future.
