Single Mom of Two

Roseann had the rare opportunity to experience JCCB Holiday Shop as a Child, Single Mom of two and now Volunteer. She currently Chairs the Festival of Trees Annual Charity Auction.

Nursing Home

Single Mom of Two

As we age, we understand why taking care of our parents can be priority. During the holiday season, who takes care of those in nursing homes who do not have children or family? It's part of our mission at JCCB.

Disabled Vet

Recently many Johnson County families experienced unprecedented numbers of layoffs and options to provide for their family. After the pandemic thousands of people were in search of resources just like JCCB provides. These efforts provide groceries, personal care items,  a warm coat, hats, gloves, gifts and more for families in need.

Those that have served and sacrificed, should not sacrifice during the Holidays. Our Holiday Shop is now here to serve them. Our Vets have given so much, its our time to give back.

GrandparentS

GrandparentS

Grandparents are often the sole guardian to their children's children which can be challenging during the winter and holiday months.

Widowed

Being a widow may bring isolation and grief, which sometimes leads to other challenges.  JCCB Holiday Shop treats our recipients with compassion and dignity as we offer the season with options of peace and love.
