Johnson County Christmas Bureau is an exceptional, extraordinary organization. I will always remember and be eternally thankful for the generosity and kindness bestowed upon my family through this AMAZING program. My shopping experience was AWESOME, the volunteers professional and the event extremely well organized. Thank you to everyone who selflessly and graciously devoted valuable time and resources to ensure me and my children could celebrate a very special, memorable X-mas.

Dear Volunteers at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau,
Thank you for giving of your time. The help my family received from your organization this Christmas season is greatly appreciated. This was the 1st year my family has been in the circumstances where we needed the help. And this experience has “opened my eyes” to how great the people are in this community. I’m used to being on the giving side of the equation, and being on the receiving side of that equation this year has been humbling. It just makes me want to give even more!

NURSING HOME RESIDENTS ARE TOUCHED:

We will be extremely happy with whatever you have to offer. We enjoy working with you all each year to make our residents Christmas a good one. I don’t know if you all realize how amazing you all are but I know for a fact that you touch many lives. A lot of the time residents become upset and depressed during this time of year but because of all your acts of kindness it makes this time of year a lot more bearable. So from the bottom of my heart and the hearts of my residents thank you so much.

Dear Johnson County Christmas Bureau,

We are seventh grade students in the gifted and talented program at Mission Valley Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. During this holiday season we got the idea to raise as
much money as we could because we feel many children in our very own community deserve the same comforts we are afforded during Christmas and Chanukah, or, really, any time of the year. After a successful bake sale and donut sale, as well as working odd jobs and babysitting, we are able to donated $156.56 to help children of all ages who come to your organization get an extra boost of love and support. We hope that the money we have enclosed will do as much good as possible. Please use it the best way you can think.
