Johnson County Christmas Bureau

The Johnson County Christmas Bureau provides holiday assistance to low-income residents of Johnson County, Kansas. At the annual Holiday Shop, pre-qualified clients, by appointment, select groceries, personal care and household supplies, children's clothing, hats, gloves, scarves, coats, toys, gifts, and books pegged to family size, age, and gender. All items are new with the exception of books and coats. We also have a nursing home program that distributes products to nursing home residents. In 2015 we helped over 12,000 people representing over 3,500 families.

We are a grass roots agency that gives generous souls the opportunity to give to others. Over 150 people donate their time on committees and we fill over 3,200 volunteer slots during the holiday season.

Founded in 1960, JCCB is a standalone non-denominational United Way safety net agency.

JCCB is partnering with Theatre in the Park for the performances of Drowsy Chaperone. We will be collecting canned food at the entrance. A group of our volunteers will be attending on Saturday June 18, 2016. It will be a great evening.
